Dubai Safari Park

Overview

Located in the Al Warqa 5 area of Dubai, the 119-hectare Dubai Safari Park is a modern and eco-friendly wildlife sanctuary, home to over 3,000 animals. Moving beyond the concept of a traditional zoo, this facility offers a comprehensive service with a strong focus on animal welfare, featuring state-of-the-art, geographically themed villages. Visitors have the opportunity to observe animals from different regions like Africa, Asia, and Arabia in environments that closely resemble their natural habitats and to explore the biodiversity of these areas.

The park offers multiple zones for visitors to explore. The “African Village,” one of the largest sections, is home to a wide variety of mammals, including lions, giraffes, gorillas, chimpanzees, and an iconic herd of African elephants. The “Safari Journey,” located in this village, is one of the park’s most popular services. On this tour, visitors travel in air-conditioned, safe buses through vast open areas where lions, tigers, giraffes, hippos, and rhinos roam freely. This immersive experience gives guests the feeling of being on a real African safari.

The “Asian Village” houses species native to the continent, such as the Komodo dragon, gibbons, and Asian elephants. The “Arabian Desert Safari” transports visitors to the desert environment of the Arabian Peninsula, offering a chance to see the region’s resilient wildlife, including the Arabian oryx, gazelles, and Arabian wolves. The park also includes an “Explorer Village.” The “Kids Farm,” specially designed for children, provides an educational and fun experience for the little ones, allowing them to get up close with and feed farm animals like ponies, goats, and sheep.

Dubai Safari Park is not just an observation area but also a vital conservation and education center. The park actively participates in global breeding programs for the conservation of endangered species. Live presentations, animal feeding sessions, and information provided by expert guides throughout the facility help raise visitors’ awareness about wildlife and the importance of conservation. Designed with sustainability in mind, the park derives a significant portion of its energy from solar panels and adopts eco-friendly practices like waste recycling. On-site restaurants, rest areas, and transportation services are also arranged to ensure maximum visitor comfort.
